Welcome to the West Virginia Music Teachers Association
Website! WVMTA is an organization of
teachers in West Virginia and adjoining states who are dedicated to promoting
music education. Our members teach a
variety of instrumental and vocal music in many different settings. We provide numerous opportunites for music
students to improve their musicianship through performing, competing and skills
testing. We also provide our member
teachers with opportunities for networking and professional growth.
Our affiliation with the Music Teachers National Association
provides our members and their students with additional opportunities to grow
musically. Member teachers can also take
advantage of other benefits, including insurance, grants and legal support.
